The Aglianico room takes its name from one of Campania’s noblest red-wine grapes — the variety behind Taurasi, the region’s most celebrated red. Fittingly, it is the most generous of our four rooms: a 20 m² Deluxe Double with its own private balcony, in the heart of Sorrento, minutes from Piazza Tasso.

The space

Finished in a clean, contemporary style, the room is arranged around a comfortable double bed and filled with natural light. At 20 square metres it sleeps two in comfort, with air conditioning for the warm Campanian summers, a desk for a quiet moment of work, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Its private balcony — unique to the Aglianico room — is your own corner of open air for a slow morning coffee.

Patriziella 4 Rooms is a contemporary, self-access B&B: you let yourself in through our app with a dynamic door code, arriving on your own schedule with no reception queue. Breakfast is included to start the day well.

Getting here couldn’t be easier: Sorrento railway station is just 100 m away — a 2-minute walk — and works as the town’s transport hub, with Circumvesuviana trains to Pompeii and Naples, the Curreri coach to Naples Capodichino airport, and buses to Positano and the Amalfi Coast all leaving from there. From the door it is a 4-minute walk (300 m) to Piazza Tasso, the main square, around 500 m to the Cathedral and the historic Sedil Dominova, and about 750 m — a 7-minute stroll — to Sorrento’s port, where ferries leave for Capri and Naples.

When you are ready to explore, the Sorrentine coast is on your doorstep — browse our guide to Sorrento, or check dates and book the Aglianico room.
