Tyrrhenian Sea — Scuba Diving

The Tyrrhenian waters below Sorrento offer fine diving: wrecks, coral reefs, varied marine life (groupers, octopuses, occasional turtles). The busier sites are along Punta Campanella and around Capri.

Several diving centres on the coast run trips at every level — try-dives, guided immersions, PADI/SSI certification courses. Best time: May to October, with excellent visibility June through September.
