Marina Grande is Sorrento's historic fishermen's quarter, at the foot of the cliff. The restaurants on the jetty serve fresh fish — the day's catch still arrives with the boats every morning.
It's about a 15-minute walk from the B&B, going down via del Mare. Quiet atmosphere, far from the tourist centre, especially beautiful at sunset.
We suggest a late dinner, after dark, and the walk back with the coastal lights on. It's one of the few places in the centre that still keeps the village rhythm.
