Ischia is the largest island in the Bay, famous for its thermal springs, botanical gardens and sandy beaches. Different from Capri in feel: less polished, greener, more relaxed.
It takes about 1h30 by ferry from Sorrento (usually with a stop at Capri or Naples) — direct routes run in high season. The island is large enough to deserve at least an overnight stay.
The Cavascura thermal baths, the Poseidon Gardens and the Aragonese Castle are the three reference points. For thermal relaxation, it's the natural destination in the Bay.
